Prenatal Yoga

Are you ready to relieve some of that pregnancy weight tension? How about strengthening the pelvic floor to get yourself ready for labor and delivery? Yoga helps you learn to breathe deeply and relax, which will come in handy as you face the physical demands of labor, birth, and motherhood. In fact, one of the first things you learn in a yoga class is how to breathe fully. Not only are you learning to relax and relieve tension, yoga classes are a great way to meet other pregnant women and to become part of a community. Being in a positive, supportive environment with others can give you a regular emotional boost and keep you motivated to continue exercising. Bring along your birthing partner so you have these techniques to use during labor together.

Classes are held at Reaching Treetops Yoga on Saturdays at 11:45am but will be moving to 9:30am beginning April 13th. Reserve your spot online. Only $50 for 6 classes. Use the link on the right.
